MAGA Celebrates Donald Trump's Legal Boosts: 'Winning Bigly'

A number of Donald Trump loyalists are celebrating after updates in his legal fights appear to have leaned in the former president's favor.

"TRUMP IS WINNING BIGLY EVERYWHERE!" said one tweet, as multiple MAGA Republicans hit out at the ongoing criminal cases involving the former president while also suggesting the state and federal investigations into him could soon fall apart.

The responses on social media arrived after Judge Aileen Cannon indefinitely postponed the classified documents trial, where Trump has pleaded not guilty to 40 federal charges,

Comments also piled in over Georgia Court of Appeals stating it would consider an effort by the former president to remove District Attorney Fani Willis from the 2020 election interference case, to which Trump has also pleaded not guilty, over claims she had an improper relationship with a special prosecutor she hired for the case

Trump supporters also suggested that the Supreme Court will soon rule in the former president's favor in the immunity defense appeal to dismiss Special Counsel Jack Smith's federal 2020 election obstruction case.

And others attacked the hush money trial where Trump is currently appearing in front of a jury after pleading not guilty to 34 counts of falsifying business records filed by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's office, overseen by judge Juan Merchan.

@BehiztTweets, a popular social media account with nearly 145,000 followers on X, formerly Twitter, posted: "Presidential immunity is ruining Jack Smith's January 6th case. Fani Willis' fornication is destroying the RICO case.

"Judge Aileen Cannon has indefinitely postponed the documents case trial. Lack of evidence is killing Alvin Bragg's case TRUMP IS WINNING BIGLY EVERYWHERE!"

Podcast host Benny Johnson wrote: "Literally every case against Trump is running into a brick wall: Fani Willis—CORRUPT Letitia James—CORRUPT," a reference to New York Attorney General General Letitia James, who successfully sued Trump for filing fraudulent financial statements.

"Judge Merchan—COMPROMISED Jack Smith—LIAR. Why? Because these are FRAUDULENT cases are being run by CRIMINALS. And we are exposing them ONE BY ONE," Johnson added.

State Freedom Caucus Network communications director Greg Price added: "The Florida sham Trump trial is postponed indefinitely, the DC sham trial hangs on the SCOTUS immunity ruling, the Georgia sham trial is heading to appeal for Fani Willis' disqualification, and even liberals are admitting the New York sham trial is a clown show."

Another pro-Trump X user posted: "Wow Fani's case is dead. Jack's case is teetering, Merchan is likely done with the lies from Stormy and the insurrection was planned by the agencies. Trump has momentum."

Trump's legal team has been contacted for comment via email.

In a court filing on Tuesday, Cannon, who is overseeing the classified documents trial, said there are several other legal issues and deadlines that need to be resolved before she can confirm the start of the proceedings. The trial was originally set for May 20, but Cannon was long expected to postpone it beyond this date. Trump denies all wrongdoing in the case.

Cannon, a Trump appointee, rescheduled a number of pretrial deadlines, including one related to the Classified Information Procedures Act (CIPA) on July 22, meaning the trial will definitely not start before then.

The following day, the Georgia Court of Appeals said it would consider an appeal to have Willis disqualified from overseeing the Georgia 2020 Election case which was another sign that the racketeering trial—which does not have a confirmed start date—could also be delayed for months.

Fulton County Judge Scott McAfee previously ruled Willis can remain as removed as the lead prosecutor after she was accused of having improper relationship with Nathan Wade. McCaffe ruled that Willis could remain on the case, only if Wade left.

The Supreme Court will also rule on whether the federal charges against Trump over his alleged criminal attempts to overturn the 2020 election results can be dismissed as the allegations relate to his time in the White House. The nation's highest court heard oral arguments on the immunity defense on April 25.

Trump is currently on trial in New York after pleading not guilty to 34 counts of falsifying business records in relation to the $130,000 hush money he arranged for his ex-lawyer Michael Cohen to pay adult film star Daniels in the run-up to the 2016 election. The payment was listed in Trump's company records as Cohen's "legal fees."

Daniels is set to continue testifying at the New York courtroom on Thursday.
