50 Cent Takes Aim at Diddy Amid Assault Allegations

Rapper 50 Cent has claimed he's producing a documentary on fellow hip-hop star Sean "Diddy" Combs, with the proceeds going to sexual assault victims, following several rape and trafficking allegations that have recently been leveled against the mogul.

On Wednesday, Combs was hit with a new lawsuit containing allegations that he trafficked and sexually abused a woman identified as Jane Doe. The suit accuses Combs of "gang rape" and sex trafficking.

Over the past several weeks, several lawsuits have been filed against Combs, including one by his ex-girlfriend, singer Casandra "Cassie" Ventura. In her suit, Ventura called her relationship with Combs "a cycle of abuse, violence, and sex trafficking." The suit also alleges that Combs led her into an "ostentatious, fast-paced and drug-fueled lifestyle." This allegedly included forced sexual encounters with male prostitutes, threats and beatings.

Ventura's lawsuit was settled one day after it was filed in November.

Combs has denied all of the allegations made against him, with his attorney, Ben Brafman, also telling Newsweek in a statement last month: "Mr. Combs vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations."

On Wednesday, he wrote in a statement posted to X, formerly Twitter: "Enough is Enough. For the last couple weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy. Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth."

Meanwhile, 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, has announced that he will be combing over the allegations in an upcoming show. Power producer 50 Cent and Bad Boy Records founder Combs have had a public on-and-off feud over the years.

A representative of 50 Cent and his G-Unit Film and TV company told Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday in a statement: "I can confirm that the untitled 'Diddy' documentary is in development through G-Unit Film and Television with Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson serving as Executive Producer, proceeds from this documentary that G-Unit Film & Television receives will go to victims of sexual assault and rape."

In also sharing the claim on his Instagram account this week, 50 Cent posted a clip on Instagram of former Bad Boy artist Mark Curry alleging that Combs used to have a designated section of spiked champagne bottles for women to drink at parties.

"Then, all of the girls is (sic) in the club after a while, they're all opening up their mouths like little birds. He's running around just popping pills in their mouths," Curry said.

While not included in the original video, which is an interview with The Art of the Dialogue, 50 Cent edited the clip to include a shot at Rock Ross, who is another of his foes.

50 Cent's version of the interview was spliced to include Ross' controversial lyrics in the track "U.O.E.N.O," in which he raps: "Put Molly all in her champagne, she ain't even know it / I took her home and I enjoyed that, she ain't even know it."

Newsweek has contacted representatives of Combs via email for comment.

Whether the documentary will make it to screens remains to be seen. In the weeks since the allegations against Combs came to light, 50 Cent has shared a number of social media posts in which he has trolled the star.

Following Combs' settlement with Cassie, 50 Cent wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post, per Page Six: "LOL 😆 He paid that money real quick, should have done that before the sharks 🦈 saw the blood in the water 🩸 and here they come in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 every woman he put his hand on."

Taking to X on December 3, 50 Cent also shared a photo showing Combs' face blended with that of R&B singer and convicted sex offender R. Kelly.

With R. Kelly's 1999 track "Did You Ever Think" serving as the soundtrack, 50 Cent appeared to tease a possible project on the issue when he added the caption: "Diddy do it? COMING SOON."
