A$AP Rock Gives Rihanna PDA at 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' Premiere

Power couple Rihanna and A$AP Rocky didn't shy away from the cameras at the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever world premiere, packing on the PDA for the public.

Lift Me Up, Rihanna's first new song in six years, will be the lead single on the movie's soundtrack, and the song is reportedly heard during the film's end credits, along with All The Stars by Kendrick Lamar and SZA.

Rihanna's boyfriend of two years, musician A$AP Rocky, accompanied her to the premiere of the movie at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Cameras snapped the pair as they walked the red carpet together and shared a kiss, much to the delight of Rihanna's stans on social media.

According to Vogue, Rihanna's dress was a Rick Owens design from his autumn/winter 2022 collection. She completed her look with some beige opera gloves.

Rocky and Rihanna walked the carpet hand in hand. Rocky made sure to plant a kiss on Rihanna's cheek for the cameras too.

"So fine," "So cute" and "THE it couple" were just some of the complimentary social media posts commenting on their appearance at the premiere. Thousands of Twitter accounts shared images of them at the event while TikTok users shared video footage of the pair too.

A short clip posted by Marvel Entertainment's Twitter account showed Rihanna tinkering with Rocky's hair and glasses as they posed for photos.

The stars of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever also attended the premiere. Major players Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, director Ryan Coogler, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Michaela Coel and Lupita Nyong'o were all at the Dolby Theater. The sequel to the wildly successful Black Panther movie deals with the death of King T'Challa, after the actor who played him, Chadwick Boseman, died in August 2020.

The trailer for the new sequel teases that there is a new female Black Panther, taking over from Boseman, and some fans recently reacted with fury that it could be the character Shuri, played by Wright.

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige recently explained to Empire Magazine why he felt it was "too soon" to recast the role of T'Challa. "Stan Lee always said that Marvel represents the world outside your window," he said, "The world is still processing the loss of Chad. And Ryan [Coogler, the film's director] poured that into the story."

Rihanna's much-anticipated single Lift Me Up is due out on Friday, October 28, 2022. The movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be released on Friday, November 11, 2022.
