Adele's Pole Dancing at a Drag Show Sends Fans Into Meltdown

Adele made a surprise appearance at a U.K. nightclub this week, and a clip of her trying her hand at pole dancing has sent fans into a frenzy.

The "Hello" singer joined Ru Paul's Drag Race star Cheryl Hole on stage to judge the weekly Porn Idol competition at London's Heaven nightclub.

Fresh from her three wins at the Brit Awards on Tuesday, the 33-year-old took to the stage in the Soho club to judge its stripping contest, where the best contestant is awarded a cash prize.

Clips are circulating online of Adele in the crowd singing along to "It's Raining Men" before getting up on stage herself and trying out some moves on the pole while the ecstatic crowd screams and cheers her on.

Adele asks Cheryl Hole if she can have the final say judging the competition.

"Adele, you can have the final say. You're f****** Adele, I'm little old Cheryl," the drag queen is heard saying.

To which Adele says when making her choice: "Pick her. 100 percent. She's sexy, f****** beautiful, f******lovely."

The clips are going viral on social media with Adele fans reveling in watching her have a fun night out.

"I'm losing my mind over the thought of Adele being in Heaven last night," reads one tweet.

While another added: "adele pole dancing at heaven who had this on their 2022 bingo card."

Drag queen Priyanka tweeted: "Adele showing up to say JUSTICE FOR CHERYL at G A Y is what the world needed."

While Cheryl Hole herself tweeted: "I'm sorry, not @Adele turning up at my show tonight."

"Adele living her best life at the Heaven Night Club tonight," said another.

Instagram account Love of Huns posted the videos and said: "Ok so Adele went to Heaven last night, pole danced, danced to 'it's raining men', confessed her love for @cherylholequeen my brain is about to COMBUST."

Adele's G-A-Y appearance comes just days after she won the first-ever gender-neutral Artist of the Year at the Brit awards.

During her acceptance speech, Adele told the audience: "I understand why the name of this award has changed but I really love being a woman and being a female artist. I do!"

This comment sparked a debate, with some people questioning if her message was transphobic.

The name of the award was changed so that it would be "celebrating artists solely for their music and work, rather than how they choose to identify or as others may see them, as part of the BRITs' commitment to evolving the show to be as inclusive and as relevant as possible," according to the Brits.

Newsweek has contacted a representative of Adele for comment.
