Internet in Awe as Woman Uses Painter's Tool for Flawless Makeup in Seconds

If you feel like your makeup routine is taking up too much of your time, the answer to your issue could be in the form of an airbrush.

It sounds scary at first, but ditching your trusty makeup brushes in favor of using an airbrush to apply products could not only save you time but also money by replacing multiple brushes with a single application tool.

If you're still not sold on the idea, a quick scroll through #airbrush on TikTok will greet you with videos like the one below, shared by user @airbrushmuabyz.

The makeup artist, who specializes in makeup using an airbrush, wowed viewers with her easy and quick method to perfectly apply her makeup in seconds.

In the video, the MUA is shown putting colored pigments into an airbrush before using stencils to apply the product to her eyelids, creating a bright and bold blue cut crease eyeshadow look at super speed.

The caption translates to: "Makeup with an airbrush—no brushes", highlighting the lack of need for other makeup application tools when working with an airbrush.

To find out more about airbrushing, Newsweek spoke with Maria Hale, an airbrush makeup artist from the U.K, who said: "Airbrush makeup is perfect for occasion make-up such as weddings and night outs as it really does last all day, it is commonly used by make-up artists on TV productions.

"The particles of makeup are tiny when sprayed through an airbrush as opposed to when it is conventionally applied and therefore less visible, allowing it to sit evenly and leave a completely flawless, weightless and natural finish. Many of my clients comment on the natural feel of it and that it is almost like they aren't wearing any with how weightless it feels!

"Airbrushing also has hygiene benefits in that it prevents product contamination and the spreading of bacteria. I use silicone-based airbrush products which are heat resistant and well known for their amazing durability. The skin is still able to breathe with silicone products and is left feeling weightless, luxurious and natural all day."

The application, although light, still allows for buildable coverage, as Hale revealed, "it can be used to disguise tattoos and allows for the correction of skin blemishes and discolorations, leaving an all-over even complexion and flawless finish."

If you want to try the tool for yourself, there are many at-home kits to get you started, but Hale recommends seeking out expert advice as, "it is a skill that needs to be learned.

"If you haven't tried airbrushing before, it might be worth finding an artist who specializes in this makeup application and give it a try!"

What Do the Comments Say?

Viewers loved the MUA's skill with the airbrush, with one commenting: "the way you did those colors give so much depth to the makeup look and I love it omg."

Another added: "You have incredibly steady hands, this is so impressive."
