Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has dismissed reports that Arsenal's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could make a January switch to Anfield as "nonsense".
Oxlade-Chamberlain, 23, has been productive for Arsenal this season when he's been on the pitch. But he has featured only sporadically, and mostly from the substitutes' bench. Oxlade-Chamberlain has featured in 15 of Arsenal's English Premier League fixtures this season but has only completed 90 minutes of football once in Arsenal's last ten fixtures in all competitions.
Klopp, whose side is second in the Premier League, six points behind Chelsea, has dismissed reports in the British media that Liverpool could move for the England international winger.
"Usually I don't say anything about transfer rumors, but I can make an exception. This is nonsense," Klopp said.
"It's really not interesting what I think about this. You [media] are already on a path so do with it what you want but from our side—nothing else to say about it."
