Lori Loughlin's alleged involvement in the college admissions scandal has resulted in her getting pulled from several projects.She was indicted on Tuesday in a nationwide scam that accused wealthy families of bribing college officials and falsifying standardized test scores.
Hallmark pulled an episode of Loughlin's show, When Calls the Heart, which was slated to air on Sunday. She's an original cast member on When Calls the Heart, which began Season 6 on February 24. She played a widow named Abigal Stanton on the Hallmark series.
"The series will not air this Sunday, March 17, while we are evaluating all creative options around the When Calls the Heart series," the Hallmark Channel tweeted on Thursday. "#Hearties please keep checking back to our social for all updates related to the beloved When Calls The Heart."
This announcement followed a statement that was released by the network, which claimed to sever all ties with Loughlin.
"We are saddened by the recent news surrounding the college admissions allegations," a Crown Media statement issued to Newsweek read. "We are no longer working with Lori Loughlin and have stopped development of all productions that air on the Crown Media Family Network channels involving Lori Loughlin, including Garage Sale Mysteries, an independent third party production."
TMZ reported on Friday that Loughlin was dropped from her guest-starring role on Netflix's Fuller House.
Loughlin, 54, is best known for playing Aunt Becky on Full House from 1988 to 1995. Loughlin, her designer husband, Mossimo Giannulli, and fellow actress Felicity Huffman were among 50 people charged on Tuesday for participating in the largest college admissions scheme that the Justice Department had ever prosecuted.
Loughlin and Giannulli were arrested for allegedly paying $500,000 to ensure their two daughters—Olivia Jade Giannulli, 19, and Isabella Rose Giannulli, 20—would get into the University of Southern California by saying they played crew. Neither Olivia nor Isabella were trained to play the sport.
Loughlin's daughter, Olivia, lost her partnerships with Sephora and Tresemmé over the cheating scandal. A rumor from TMZ claimed Olivia and Isabella dropped out of USC, though the school told Newsweek they were still enrolled.
Representatives for Loughlin did not immediately return Newsweek's request for comment. Netflix and Warner Horizon declined to comment.
