Why is it that we crave the return of summer in the dead of winter, but once the sun takes longer to set and the streets are scorched from the inclement heat all we want to do is spend our days under the freezing chill of an air conditioner? It's a seasonal oxymoron at best, yet one Americans seem to subscribe to year after year.

Luckily, Amazon Prime Video has the answer to everyone's summer days spent indoors under the comforts of central air (or a really quality fan)—a whole list of new releases, including not one, not two but three brand spanking new original series. Take a look at everything rolling out on the streaming network in July.

Asterisk indicates original show or film.
