'American Horror Story' Season 8 Spoilers: What Happens on Halloween Night in Episode 3?

The third episode of American Horror Story: Apocalypse will center on Halloween night.

"Tonight is all hallows eve," Ms. Wilhemina Venable (Sarah Paulson) tells the group. "Everyone shall savor this night as if it were their last."

Michael Langdon (Cody Fern) recites two of the Ten Commandments. "Though shall not kill," he says. "Though shall love thy neighbor." He seems to have a different set of rules to follow then God's commandments, however.

At the beginning of episode 2, genetic prodigies Timothy Campbell (Kyle Allen) and Emily (Ashley Santos) are shocked when they discover a hoard of snakes in the closet. Kathy Bates' Ms. Miriam Mead is delighted by the serpents and kills them for dinner. Just as the group gets ready to eat them for dinner, the snakes come alive and slither away.

That's when the survivors in Outpost 3 meet Langdon for the first time. "Humanity is on the brink of failure," he tells them. "My arrival here is crucial to the survival of earth."

Even the people saved in the other outposts have died after being "massacred" and "the same thing that will happen to almost all of you," Langdon says. The only way they will survive is if they pass the interview process and are admitted to the sanctuary. "I've been sent to determine if any of you are worthy and fit to join us," he says. "I look forward to meeting each and every one of you."

Mr. Gallant (Evan Peters) volunteers to go first. After an interview with Langdon, where Mr. Gallant says he's gay and hates his grandmother Evie Gallant, (Joan Collins), he asks if Langdon is gay. That's when the interview ends.

Rubber Man makes his appearance early in the episode, showing up to Mr. Gallant's room. Evie sees the intimate encounter, which isn't allowed at Outpost 3 and rats him out to Ms. Mead.

"I'm so sorry. I never thought I would have to do this but I am truly at a loss. I know that blood is more sacred than water, but the things I've just seen," she says. "I'm terribly conflicted, but this could destroy his chance of going to the utopia. His absence could leave room for someone more deserving."

Before Ms. Mead can punish Mr. Gallant, Langdon visits Ms. Venable. "You have a gift for making the ugly look presentable," he says, before turning on her. "I'm on to you. You've created your own rules in here," he reveals. "I understand why."

Ms. Venable denies any wrongdoing. The two are quick advisories and Langdon asserts his dominance by telling Ms. Venable to remove her clothes. She refuses at first, but Langdon unzips her dresses, which shows a growth on her back. Just as they are about to kiss during the vulnerable moment, she asks if she passed the test. He tells her no. That's when Ms. Mead interrupts them and asks for Ms. Venable to assist her.

In the next clip, the two women have tied up Mr. Gallant, convinced he broke the rules and had sex with Langdon who was dressed as rubber man. He refuses to give up the true identity of rubber man, thinking it was Langdon.

They try to torture the truth out of Mr. Gallant, but he's a sadist. Eventually, they leave him tied up, alone and Langdon emerges. That's when he discovers Langdon was not in the rubber suit, or at least, that's what he tells him.

"I wouldn't f*** you if you were the last man on earth. And you practically are," he says with a sinister laugh. "You're pathetic. I can see why your grandmother is disgusted by you. Why else would she report you? Make them do this to you? I'm sure she hoped they would put you out of your misery. She's the reason you're staring at a death sentence. She would do anything to increase her odds of getting out of here. You know, she hates your guts. Perhaps you should go and talk to her about it yourself then."

After confronting Evie, Mr. Gallant here's music and finds rubber man again. Or, who he thinks is rubber man. He grabs scissors and stabs him in the belly. Langdon opens the door. When Mr. Gallant looks at the bed again, Evie is lying dead underneath him.

Timothy and Emily are later punished by Ms. Venable and Ms. Mead when they are caught breaking the fornication rule. Ms. Venable refuses to listen to them when they try to tell her about the laptop they discovered.

"We warned you. You brought this on yourselves," Ms. Mead tells them in the room they used to previously torture Mr. Gallant. Timothy is able to wrestle a gun away and shoots Ms. Mead in the gut. She stumbles out of the room, holding on to her belly. Instead of bleeding red blood, she's trying hold back a white, milky substance.

American Horror Story: Apocalypse airs on FX on Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. ET.
