Britain has not had a men's and women's quarterfinalist at Wimbledon since 1973.
That is the momentous achievement awaiting Andy Murray and Johanna Konta on "Manic Monday," when sixteen singles matches are scheduled at the All England Club.
Alongside Murray, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Venus Williams are all targeting places in the quarterfinals. Here are the matchups to look out for.
Murray seeks to earn a place in the quarterfinals when he plays unseeded Benoit Paire of France at 1 p.m. BST (8 a.m. ET).
Murray and Paire are second up on Centre Court at around 3 p.m. BST (10 a.m. ET) after Venus Williams, the 10th seed, and 27th-seeded Ana Konjuh of Croatia. Last up on Centre Court is the intriguing-looking fourth-round match between Grigor Dimitrov, once nicknamed "Baby Fed" due to his stylistic similarities to Roger Federer, and the great Swiss champion himself.
Standing in the way of Konta is the imposing but unpredictable talent of Caroline Garcia, the 21st seed from France. Konta opens up the day on No. 1 Court at 1 p.m. BST (8 a.m. ET). Rafael Nadal, next up, shouldn't find too many problems with Luxembourg's Gilles Muller, while a seemingly rejuvenated Novak Djokovic should breeze past France's Adrian Mannarino.
The matches on No. 2 court look just as intriguing. Angelique Kerber, the world No. 1, faces Spain's Garbine Muguruza a round or two earlier than either would have liked - Muguruza is seeded 14th but has looked dangerous through the first week. Simona Halep, the second seed, faces a not dissimilar situation against Victoria Azarenka, twice a semifinalist here and returning strongly after the birth of her son. Following that match, last year's beaten finalist Milos Raonic faces German up-and-comer Alexander Zverev.
Out on No. 3 Court, there's a tight battle in prospect between Dominic Thiem, the Austrian tyro and clay-court specialist, and Thomas Berdych who reached the final at Wimbledon seven years ago, losing to Rafael Nadal in straight sets. On Court 12, look out for French Open champion Jelena Ostapenko, who faces fourth seed Elena Svitolina of Ukraine. Way out on Court 18, Sam Querrey carries the tattered hopes of the U.S. men's challenge. Querrey faces unseeded Kevin Anderson of South Africa in a contest of two of the game's biggest servers.
