Arn Anderson Reportedly Fired for Allowing Alicia Fox to Perform While Intoxicated

New reports on the firing of Arn Anderson have come to light, and include what happened at a recent live event that caused Vince McMahon to fire the WWE Hall of Famer.

According to Wrestling Inc., Anderson was fired when WWE Superstar Alicia Fox showed up at a recent live event appearing to be intoxicated and he still allowed her to perform. The Enforcer was the agent for her match that night.

McMahon and Anderson reportedly have a contentious relationship, but this latest incident made the WWE head "furious" says the source. Anderson was relieved of his duties as backstage agent and producer after the reported incident on February 21.

When asked about Anderson's status with the company, WWE declined to comment.

As for Alicia Fox, Wrestling Inc. said her status with WWE was unclear and she was not backstage at last week's Monday Night RAW.

Fightful posted a report on Monday that Alicia Fox was offered rehab, but instead went absent. Several people in the company are unaware of Fox's whereabouts. The report continues, saying that Fox has been on "thin ice" several times in the past including an altercation with Travis Browne at WrestleMania and one in 2017 when she arrived more than two hours late to a show.

Anderson was an agent for the WWE since the company bought WCW in 2001. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012 as part of the Four Horsemen that include Ric Flair, Barry Windham, Tully Blanchard and manager James Dillon.

For those unaware, an agent in the wrestling business travels with talent and acts as a liaison between the superstars and management. They also help plan out matches and storylines. Agents are usually tasked with selling superstars on story decisions even when the talent won't be happy with them. Anderson was known for agreeing with the talent when they were displeased with storyline decisions but told them to go through with it anyway.
