It's hard to come across someone who isn't fond of the ever-so-charming Chris Pratt. Luckily, his soon-to-be father-in-law Arnold Schwarzenegger is among those who had been a fan of the actor long before he proposed to his daughter, Katherine Schwarzenegger.

On Friday, ET Online unearthed a tweet from June 2015 that showed the Terminator star geeking out over Pratt. At the time, Schwarzenegger shared a tweet from The Late Late Show With James Corden's official account that contained a picture of the autograph wall from the ABC program's set.

In realizing his autograph was beside the Pratt's, Schwarzenegger proceeded to post a tweet of appreciation for the fellow actor. "I'm right next to friggin' CHRIS PRATT. Congrats on the monster opening weekend, @prattprattpratt. You deserve it," Schwarzenegger, 71, tweeted at the time as he praised Pratt for Jurassic World's box office success.

Pratt, 39, proposed to his now-fiancée Katherine Schwarzenegger, 29, on Sunday. The couple reportedly began dating in June 2018 but made their relationship Instagram official in December 2018. They were introduced through her mother, journalist and author Maria Shriver. His divorce from Anna Faris was finalized in October 2018.

In announcing their engagement, the Parks and Recreation alum posted a sweet message to Instagram. "Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I'm thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go," he wrote.

Schwarzenegger, for her part, shared the same picture Pratt did to her Instagram profile that pictured the newly engaged couple holding each other affectionately. "My sweet love. Wouldn't want to live this life with anyone but you," she wrote on Tuesday, including a black heart emoji and a ring emoji with her message.

Before Pratt and Schwarzenegger announced their engagement, Faris disclosed the hardships of being divorced and co-parenting 6-year-old Jack Pratt. Faris, who has been dating cinematographer Michael Barrett since November 2017, addressed the issue on her Unqualified podcast on January 10.

"I do want to reiterate though that I f***ing acknowledge—we all do, everyone acknowledges—that there is bitterness and pain with all breakups and that hopefully makes us human," Faris, 42, said. "But the long game is just the worst, being the bigger person. It just is. It f***ing sucks until, then when it happens though, is that everyone's happy."

Despite this, Faris has been supportive of Pratt and Schwarzenegger's proposal. She congratulated the couple within the comments section of Pratt's Instagram announcement post, writing: "I'm so happy for you both!!"
