Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has remained tight-lipped over reports linking him with Arsenal as Arsene Wenger's successor.

Wenger is under increasing pressure at Emirates Stadium with another Arsenal bid for the English Premier League title seemingly slipping away.

Allegri, who took over from Chelsea manager Antonio Conte at Juventus in 2014, has led Juventus to two straight Serie A titles and a UEFA Champions League final which it lost to Barcelona since assuming the job.

He leads a small cadre of possible candidates to take over from Wenger, should Arsenal decide to end its 21-year relationship with the Frenchman at the end of the season.

Allegri appeared to leave the door open for a potential exit to Arsenal in the future in an interview with Mediaset TV, quoted by Football Italia,

"I won't deny or confirm anything," Allegri said. "I am in sync with the club, now we have to focus on winning. At this time of the season the media always says I'm leaving, even when things are going really well."

Wenger faces a potentially pivotal few weeks, with Hull City's visit in the Premier League on Saturday followed by the Champions League last-16 first leg against Bayern Munich at Allianz Arena and the trip to non-league Sutton United for the FA Cup fifth round.
