The Avengers 4 trailer is in high demand. Every day there's another release date rumor, and hopefully this one will be the last. The (mostly) reliable insider blogs /film, SuperBroMovies and MCU Cosmic report the Avengers 4 trailer release date is Wednesday. Marvel has not confirmed the rumor, which has the trailer debuting on Good Morning America Wednesday morning.

Perhaps the better news, Marvel has confirmed the release date for the new Captain Marvel trailer: Monday. A new Captain Marvel poster came with announcement. The bad news, for all you comic book nerds out there, you'll have to tune into Monday night football to see it live.

The new poster features Carol Danvers, a.k.a Captain Marvel, all suited up and ready to spring into action for her March 8 theatrical release. We could not be more ready to meet Marvel's all new, mighy hero who appears to be the only hope to save The Avengers, but the most pressing of mysteries remain, especially for Agents of Shield fans. Why have Agent Coulson and Nick Fury withheld Captain Marvel's existence for so long?
The film centers around not only Captain Marvel's introduction and origin story, it takes longtime Marvel followers all the way back to the 1990s to meet a de-aged version of Fury and Coulson. Around this time, they are both lowly SHIELD newbies, and Captain Marvel will technically be both characters' first MCU appearance, timeline-wise. Perhaps Monday's new footage will shine more light on what exactly these two beloved characters are up to in the film, and explain the Infinity War post credits scene in the process.
We also need answers about Jude Law's unnamed character who Marvel has purposefully kept secret thus far. Speculation lends itself to Law portraying Mar-Vell, the hero whom Carol Danvers is inspired by. However, considering that's what fans are expecting, don't put it past Marvel to switch things up from the comic books.
While disappointing the Avengers 4 trailer did not release on the anniversary of the Infinity War trailer at the end of November, it does make sense for Captain Marvel to finish the rollout of its marketing materials, if not the entire release of the film. She is an integral part of Avengers 4, and any footage of her appearance in the upcoming sequel could be a spoiler in and of itself.
Adding fuel to the Wednesday release rumor, Hawkeye actor Jeremy Renner teased new footage at Tokyo Comic Con last weekend. "I will be seeing some of it, actually, in a few days," he said. "I can't wait not to tell you what happens." It's unclear if he was talking about a trailer or a private first look.
Even if the Wednesday release rumor isn't true, at least new footage of Captain Marvel is on the way. What are the chances Marvel will release both trailers in the same week? Sound off in the comments.
