Marvel Studios movies are known for including post-credits scenes that setup the next film or series of films. However, Avengers: Endgame did not have one its first two weekends in theaters, but that is about to change.

This article contains Endgame spoilers.

According to Deadline, the latest Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer - released on May 6 - is now being shown at the end of Avengers: Endgame.

Considering the nature of the trailer and how it ties into major events in Endgame , fans who have yet to see the latest clip of Peter Parker's European adventure will get a look for, presumably, the rest of the Avengers' run in theaters.

Before the addition of the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer, theatergoers would only hear the clanging of metal that references the first Iron Man film, and the start of the MCU.

The latest Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer revealed how Peter Parker deals with the loss of Tony Stark/Iron Man. Stark was Peter's mentor and now with him gone it seems that Spider-Man will have to pick up the slack in keeping the world safe. But first, Peter needs to take a field trip to Europe.

As Peter is leaving for Europe he ignores calls from Nick Fury, but the Director of SHIELD arrives in-person to recruit Spider-Man. Spidey is tasked with teaming up with Mysterio to take on the Elementals, a group of super powered people who have the ability to control the elements like wind and earth. Fury talks about how Mysterio is part of a different universe, confirming - or at least teasing - that the Marvel Cinematic Universe will have its own multiverse.

This, of course, opens up a myriad of possibilities for Phase 4 and beyond but Mysterio - who Marvel Comics fans knows is a villain - could be making this all up. Fans will have to wait and see how it plays out.

Here's the synopsis for Spider-Man: Far From Home :

Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man must step up to take on new threats in a world that has changed forever.

Avengers: Endgame is out in theaters now. Spider-Man: Far From Home swings into theaters on July 2.
