The good news is, Bad Sisters is coming to screens a lot sooner than you think.

The highly-anticipated dark comedy will premiere on Friday, August 19, with the first two episodes dropping for audiences to watch back to back.

The remaining eight episodes will then drop every Friday, exclusively on Apple TV+.

Who Is in The Cast of Bad Sisters on Apple TV+?

Emmy Award nominee and BAFTA Award-winning star Sharon Horgan created and stars in Bad Sisters on Apple TV+.

Horgan is best known for co-writing and starring in the comedies Pulling and Catastrophe, winning a BAFTA TV Award for Best Comedy Writer in 2016 and receiving a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series for the latter.

She is also behind the HBO series Divorce and BBC's Motherland.

Joining Horgan in Bad Sisters are The Luminaries' Eve Hewson, Sex Education's Anne-Marie Duff, The Last Kingdom's Eva Birthistle and Normal People's Sarah Greene as her sisters.

Dracula's Claes Bang takes on the role of John Paul, the sisters' brother-in-law with a pretty big life insurance policy behind him.

Also starring in Bad Sisters are Peaky Blinders star Brian Gleeson, Good Luck To You, Leo Grande's Daryl McCormack, Call My Agent!'s Assaad Bouab, and newcomer Saise Quinn.

What Is Bad Sisters on Apple TV+ About?

Bad Sisters is a black comedy meets murder mystery and thriller, only on Apple TV+. It is an adaption of Malin-Sarah Gozin's Belgian series, Clan. Gozin will serve as an executive producer alongside Horgan, who stars in and wrote the series, as well as Faye Dorn and Clelia Mountford.

Bad Sisters on Apple TV+ follows the story of the Garvey sisters who become embroiled in a murder investigation when their brother-in-law John Paul (played by Claes Bang) is found dead.

Unfortunately for them, they all have a pretty strong motive to kill him, and let's just say, they may or may not have a pretty big cover-up on their hands.

Yes, there is a hilarious trailer for Bad Sisters on Apple TV+, introducing audiences to the complicated Garvey sisters.

The trailer begins with Sharon Horgan's character saying: "Everything bad that could have happened, has happened," as her brother-in-law's coffin is lowered into his grave, and snaps, falling in.

From the trailer, on the surface, it looks as if the Garvey sisters do have a pretty good reason to kill their sister's husband. Claes Bang's character is seen being physically and emotionally abusive not only to his wife but to her family.

As they joke about how to get rid of him once and for all, Sarah Greene's character suggests they should "give nature a helping hand."

The trailer for Bad Sisters goes on to follow the Garvey sisters as they hatch their plans but of course, things are not going quite as smoothly as they hoped.

Apple TV+ will debut the first two episodes of Bad Sisters on August 19, 2022, followed by one new episode every Friday through October 14.
