Shark Tank's Barbara Corcoran Makes Honest Confession About Undergoing Two Facelifts

Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek's network of contributors

Barbara Corcoran, known for her role as an investor on the hit show Shark Tank, just got candid on social media about two cosmetic procedures that are totally "worth the money."

In a recent TikTok post from April 9, Corcoran humorously highlighted her facelift(s) as the most expensive item she wears, echoing a trend where celebrities disclose their priciest possessions. The trend was seemingly started by JoJo Siwa who revealed at the 2024 GLAAD Media Awards red carpet on March 14 that her teeth were the most expensive thing she owned, costing her $50 grand.

Corcoran's post featured a slideshow of herself, first pictured in a vibrant hot pink blazer, smiling broadly, with the caption, "What's the most expensive thing you're wearing," followed by an admission that her facelifts have been her biggest investment. "At least I'm honest!" she penned in the description below.

This isn't the first time the 75-year-old has been open about her plastic surgery journey. Corcoran posted a comparison on Instagram in May 2023, showing photos from the first and fourteenth seasons of Shark Tank, hilariously illustrating the minimal aging over 15 years, credited to "2 facelifts & 100+ deals later..."

"U were beautiful then, and still beautiful now!! Love ya Barbara!!" captioned one fan on the post. "F*ck yes! I've always said I'll get multiple facelifts in my lifetime!" exclaimed another. Others chimed in with how much they love Corcoran's honesty, saying, "Gorgeous, transparent, trustworthy, inspiring! 🔥" and "I respect your honesty!! 🥰"

In the past, Corcoran had discussed undergoing an eye lift following a basal cell carcinoma diagnosis on The Checkup With Doctor Mike podcast. After being dismissed by several doctors for what seemed like a clogged tear duct, a visit to one doctor in New York led to a redirect to a cancer specialist, revealing the diagnosis. She stayed positive and used this as an opportunity to also receive eye lift while treating the cancer. "While I was at the cancer doctor, I realized this is real surgery that I need, and I got my eye lift for free! I was so happy!" she recounted.
