A football fan's petition to have Barcelona's Champions League victory over Paris Saint-Germain replayed has passed 200,000 signatures.
Luis Melendo Olmedo, whose Twitter profile is a picture of Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo, began the campaign on Change.org on March 10.
As of Monday morning, his petition had collected almost 211,000 signatures. Olmedo's grievance stems from the performance of referee Deniz Aytekin, who took charge of PSG's extraordinary collapse at Camp Nou last Wednesday.
Leading 4-0 from the first leg at Parc des Princes, PSG crumbled to lose the second leg 6-1.
Olmedo lists 14 "incidents" he believes Aytekin got wrong, including the controversial 90th-minute penalty scored by Neymar to level the tie on aggregate after Luis Suarez tumbled under a challenge.
"Suarez diving like a snake, punished by a penalty," Olmedo screams in capital letters.
UEFA, European football's governing body, will not replay the tie but MARCA, the Spanish daily newspaper, reported last week that Aytekin could face demotion for his performance.
