Barron Trump Photo at Mar-a-Lago Goes Viral

Barron Trump has joined his father Donald Trump at various points on the campaign trail recently and now a photo of him at Mar-a-Lago has gone viral online.

The picture was posted to X (formerly Twitter) by steel magnate Justin Waller. In the snap, Waller is standing alongside entrepreneur Patrick Bet-David, MMA fighter Colby Covington, and 17-year-old Bo Loudon, son of conservative commentator Gina Loudon. In the center of the picture is 18-year-old Barron Trump, who stands 6 feet, 7 inches tall.

All four men standing with the son of the former president have large followings on social media. Waller has ties with controversial brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate and became the face of Andrew Tate's business school The Real World, which has been de-platformed by YouTube amid fears it was exploiting Andrew Tate's young fan base.

Covington has been a loud supporter of Donald Trump, even going as far as to claim that a previous MMA game was rigged because he supports the former president. Bo Loudon's mother was a member of Trump's 2020 media advisory board and Bet-David is a conservative political commentator who hosts the PBD Podcast channel on YouTube.

"Good evening. Let's take this country back.." Waller captioned the photo alongside three emojis of the American flag.

The post has since gone viral, having been viewed 21.3 million times at the time of writing. People took to the comments to share their thoughts on the photo and the men in it.

Newsweek emailed Covington and Trump's campaign spokesperson, Steven Cheung, and and messaged Bo Loudon via Instagram for comment on Friday.

Some X users were quick to criticize the photo, with one person writing in response to the photo caption: "Back to the 1830s."

"You look like clowns on this picture and I'm not even a hater," said another.

"Sad that only two out of those 5 men know how to properly wear a suit," someone else commented.

A fourth added: "Never too late to get out of the cult mate. Thank me later np [no problem]."

Other X users used the opportunity to show their support for Barron Trump.

"Barron is going to be president one day," one person said, while another added: "Barron looks like he took a time machine to meet with you guys."

Others couldn't help but comment on Barron Trump's height, with one person writing: "Get this man in the NBA the Celtics need him."

And some people shared their admiration of the men.

"Future looks bright," a different X user commented.

"Love to see Jwaller in the Big Leagues," another one said.

A third added: "This pic cannot be hated on."

Bet-David provided some insight into the evening in a comment shared with Newsweek.

"I was invited by Barron Trump to dinner. I was very impressed by him as a young man. He was very sharp, witty, a great sense of humor and interesting to listen to during dinner," he said.

Waller told Newsweek that it was "an honor to be invited to Mar-a-Lago."

"Truly enjoyed spending time with Barron, Patrick, Colby and President Trump," he said in a statement via email. "As for the hate, I find that people who throw stones online are generally in pain. In these situations, I believe it's best to be graceful. My life is simply too good to involve myself in putting someone else down, particularly when they are already likely in a bad place."

This isn't the only public appearance that Barron Trump has made recently, having joined his father at a restaurant for dinner during the Easter long weekend. A clip was uploaded to X by Ron Filipkowski—a Trump critic and the editor-in-chief of the independent news network MeidasTouch—of Donald Trump showing off his signature dance move.

In the video, people cheered on Trump as he entered the restaurant. In response, he danced by moving his clenched fists back and forth while his son trailed behind him.

"Trump arrives at Easter dinner with Barron showing off his signature dance moves," Filipkowski captioned the post. At the time of writing, it had been viewed 935,900 times.
