  • Vehicles have a fuel limit.
  • Weapons come in common, rare and epic tiers.
  • Each weapon class has its own ammo and you can only carry a limited amount.

While we can only see part of it in this image, here's a partial look at the play space. In typical battle royale fashion, there are train yards, villages and coastal points to explore. You'll have access to the whole thing at the start of each match.

  • Heavy Load
  • Incendiary Bullets
  • Quick ADS
  • Slug

There are also Reinforcements which include:

Firestorm Battle Royale Release Plans

If Chapter 2 challenges end March 27, Firestorm can't be too far behind. DICE/EA

A formal release date for Firestorm has not been announced, but in-game screens offer a solid estimation for when to expect it. The Lightning Strikes chapter of Tides of War is confirmed to conclude March 27. With that in mind, Firestorm's chapter, Trial by Fire, could begin as soon as March 28. DICE has long promised we'd see Firestorm in March, and it looks like developers will just barely meet that deadline.

That's all we know about Firestorm so far, but we'll keep you updated as we learn more.

Battlefield 5 is available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Firestorm battle royale releases in March.
