Bekah Martinez Apologizes for 'Blasting' 'Bachelorette's Colton and Tia Rekindled Relationship

Bachelor star Bekah Martinez retracted her earlier statements toward Colton Underwood and Tia Booth regarding their rumored rekindled romance on Bachelor in Paradise with an apology.

"I woke up this morning realizing I regret blasting Tia+Colton on social media," Martinez, 23, tweeted Tuesday. "Regardless of my feelings about the situation, a sarcastic tweet is not the way to handle it. There ARE less petty/immature routes to take, and I HAD promised Tia months ago I'd stop the shit-talking."

Underwood revealed to Becca Kufrin on a June 11 episode of The Bachelorette that he had dated Booth. He addressed his former relationship because Kufrin and Booth are friends. In hearing this news, Kufrin spoke with Booth about her prior involvement with Underwood on the following episode. Since they insisted there was nothing going on between them, Kufrin kept the NFL alum as one of her contenders.

A photo surfaced via Reality Steve of Underwood and Booth on an apparent date during the filming of Bachelor in Paradise's Season 5. This elicited a response from Martinez, ultimately mocking the pair for reuniting.

"Yeah Becca, we're both 100% over each other," Martinez tweeted alongside a picture of them on BIP's set June 15. "We're TOTALLY not planning on getting back together/probably engaged the minute we're in paradise (we're gonna get so many followers from this manufactured narrative lol)."

Raven Gates, a friend of Booth's and former Bachelor contestant, defended the pair. In a series of now-deleted tweets, she seemingly called out Martinez for being an attention seeker. "Hey everybody!! Make sure you follow @Whats_Ur_Sign_ so she can get those followers so she can stop talking s—t about her friends…like Tia!!!! And Becca!!" she wrote on Twitter. "Come on now hurry up!"

Kufrin, Underwood and Booth have not publicly commented on the drama. Kufrin, however, is happily engaged following her highly publicized breakup from Arie Luyendyk Jr. in March.

"It was the happiest moment of my life. And it feels so good to say it," Kufrin, 28, told People. "I still pinch myself, like, did that all just happen? It's been a whirlwind."
