Manchester United has first option on the transfer of Bernardo Silva, according to reports from France.
Silva, 22, is one of European football's most-coveted prospects and his performance for AS Monaco against Manchester City on Tuesday evening at Etihad Stadium will have done little to put off his suitors.
Those pursuers are reported to include Chelsea and Jose Mourinho's United, which according to Le10sport in France has first refusal on Silva's signature.
The website claims United has already "laid the groundwork" for a transfer that would almost certainly result in the exit of Juan Mata, an older facsimile of Silva.
