Best in Show Westminster 2019 Live Stream: How to Watch Online, Time, Channel, Find Out Each Category Winner

Each year, dogs from across the country and even the globe strut their stuff in the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show judge's ring with the hopes of being named the best of their breed, the best of their group and then ultimately, the Best in Show.

Thousands of dogs will be judged over the two-day show, which takes place in New York City. First, dogs are judged by their breed with Golden Retrievers going up against Golden Retrievers, Pembroke Welsh Corgis against Pembroke Welsh Corgis and so on and so forth.

Then, the best of each breed goes up against the other breeds in its designated group. The winners of those seven groups then compete in the final round, known as Best in Show.

What Time Is the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show?

The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show began at 8 a.m. EST on Tuesday with the judging of breeds in the Sporting, Working and Terrier groups. That round of judging was scheduled to last until 4:30 p.m. EST.

Group judging for Sporting, Working and Terrier dogs are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. EST and finally, around 10:30 p.m. EST, Best in Show would be judged.

What Channel Is the Dog Show On?

The Fox 1 Sports network and Nat Geo Wild will broadcast the Westminster Dog Show live on television.

Who Won the Hound Group?

Burns, a longhaired dachshund, won the Hound Group. Burns is a seven-year-old male dog, who has five owners, identified as Theresa Nesbitt, Kim Vidrine, Jeane Haverick, Audrey White, Patricia Grant.

In second place was Bourbon, a female Whippet, followed by Tam, an over 13 inch Beagle, and in fourth place, a Basenji.

Who Won the Toy Group?

Bono, a Havanese, took home the top prize at Westminster for the Toy group. The one-and-a-half year old male dog belongs to Mary King, Rafe Schindler, Julie Vogel and Taffe McFadden.

Bono was followed by "Biggie," a male pug, then a female Yorkshire Terrier, and finally a male English Toy Spaniel.

Who Won the Non-Sporting Group?

The Non-Sporting Group belonged to Colton, a seven-year-old Schipperkes, who's owned by

S. Middlebrooks, W and T Truesdale and A. Halterman.

Following Bandit for second, third and fourth place respectively was a French Bulldog, a Chow Chow and then a Standard Poodle.

Who Won the Herding Group?

Baby Lars, a Bouvier des Flandres, took home the top prize of the Herding Group. The five-year-old male dog is owned by Julianna Garrison and Elaine and Louise Paquette.

Baby Lars was followed by the border collie, then the German shepherd and finally, in fourth place, was the old English sheepdog.
