The biggest names in Hollywood and fashion attended the "Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology" Costume Institute fundraiser, better known as the Met Gala, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday.
The full exhibition, which opens to the public May 5, explores the relationship between the handmade and the machine-produced in fashion.
Of course, as this is one of the biggest red carpet events of the year, there were some major fashion moments. From Beyoncé in a latex gown to Taylor Swift in a metallic mini-dress, check out who we thought smashed it among the Met Gala's best-dressed:
#15. Blake Lively
Never one to disappoint on a red carpet, the Gossip Girl star looked gorgeous in a blush-pink, pleated technical silk organza and chiffon gown by Burberry, with a corset top and an A-line skirt, plus a detachable cape accented with hand-dyed and sewn laser-cut acrylic petal detailing on the back.
