Beyoncé's Sweet Birthday Surprise for Kim Kardashian

If you were thinking of sending Kim Kardashian flowers for her birthday this year, maybe think twice—as the reality star has already been gifted enough blooms to open her own florist.

The SKIMSfounder turned 43 on October 21, with Beyoncé amongst the big names to wish Kardashian a happy birthday.

On October 24, Kardashian shared a clip of the overwhelming number of floral arrangements she's received over the last few days to her Instagram Stories, including a close-up of the bouquet sent by the pop star.

"Kim, Have a beautiful birthday," the card reads. "Hope you are surrounded by joy. All my love, B."

The birthday gift is a welcome sight for fans of both The Kardashians star and the singer. For years, the pair have been rumored to dislike each other. Their supposed feud is said to have begun back in 2012, when Kardashian started dating now ex-husband Kanye West.

West, 46, and Beyoncé's husband Jay-Z, 53, were once said to be close friends, with the rappers previously touring together and collaborating on the 2011 album Watch the Throne.

However, West's relationship with Kardashian allegedly drove a wedge between the rappers. Jay-Z was originally supposed to be West's best man at the former couple's 2012 wedding, but Beyoncé, now 42, reportedly refused to attend the ceremony.

After Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in a Paris hotel room in 2016, West publicly slammed Jay-Z for not visiting the couple.

"Don't call me after the robbery and say, 'How you feelin'?' You wanna know how I'm feeling? Come by the house. Bring the kids by the house, like we're brothers. Let's sit down," he told an audience in Seattle during his Saint Pablo tour.

West later blasted Jay-Z and Beyoncé during a gig in Sacramento, telling the crowd: "Beyoncé, I was hurt! Cause I heard that you said you wouldn't perform (at the MTV VMAs) unless you won video of the year over me, and over 'Hotline Bling.'

"JAY-Z, call me, bruh! You still ain't call me! JAY-Z, call me! JAY-Z, I know you got killers, please don't send them at my head."

In 2017, Jay-Z addressed the falling-out during an interview, accusing the rapper of bringing his "wife and children" into the mess.

"We've gotten past bigger issues. But you brought my family into it and now it's a problem with me. Now, it's a real, real problem," he told music journalist Elliot Wilson.

"He knows it's a problem because me and him would have been talked about it, we would have been resolved our issue, but he knows he crossed the line."

During West's marriage to Kardashian, Beyoncé was reportedly disappointed by the music icon's decision to appear in the reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. A source also told Page Six in 2016 that Beyoncé "has never genuinely liked Kim," and only tolerated Kardashian due to their husband's bromance. However, a representative for Beyoncé denied the rumors.

Jay-Z and West have since apparently made amends, as the music mogul appeared on West's 2021 album Donda.

Kardashian and Beyoncé are also said to have buried the hatchet, with the SKIMS founder attending the singer's Inglewood, California, stop of the Renaissance World Tour in September, along with her mom Kris Jenner, sister Khloé Kardashian, and her 10-year-old daughter North West.
