Big Brother stars Cody Nickson and Jessica Graf welcomed a baby girl to their family on Sunday, they revealed on Instagram Wednesday. The girl, named Maverick Nickson, was born via emergency cesarean section when Graf's blood pressure rose to incredibly high levels.

Maverick was also born nearly a full month before her scheduled due date. She was born weighing 6 lbs and 7 ounces, Nickson shared on Graf's podcast.

Graf wasn't feeling well, so the couple checked her blood pressure both at home and at a grocery store, the couple told People. "It was 185 over 113. Once it starts getting that high or even higher, there's the possibility of stroke, seizure, whatever," Nickson told the magazine. "It's really bad.

Once the couple arrived at the emergency room, Maverick was born after an emergency procedure. Graf, though she experienced a nearly traumatic birth, is doing well.

"We had our baby, we had our baby girl. Fortunately, the surgery went great," Nickson said. "Jessica is currently recovering. By all means, everything went good with her. Her recovery is doing pretty well."

He also revealed a second child is not far off in the couple's future. "We couldn't be happier and thank you for all the thoughts and prayers out there. We have received so much support. We already can't wait until the next one comes. Jessica said she can wait."

Nickson now has two daughters, as he had daughter Paisley, in a past relationship. This is Graf's first biological child.

Graf and Nickson were married in October 2018. They first met on the CBS reality show Big Brother in 2017. They became a couple in the house and pledged to continue their relationship when the season ended. From there, the couple went on to compete on Season 30 of The Amazing Race. They shared their pregnancy announcement last September.

The couple expressed the beauty in the way they met to People in October. "We are so lucky to have found each other in the most unconventional of ways but we did," they said. "We found our forever in each other and can't wait to begin this new chapter of our lives."

Nickson and Graf became Big Brother favorites after being controversial names on their season. Both Graf and Nickson had the house against them, and when they were on the block next to each other, they surprised the house with a secret power that allowed them both to stay. Nickson won America's Favorite Houseguest that season.
