Billie Eilish did not hold back in a recent interview — as she spoke freely about her sexuality and fans have been sharing their reactions to her bold commentary.

In a cover story with Rolling Stone, Eilish candidly delved into her journey of self-discovery regarding her sexuality. She explained how her upcoming song "Lunch," featured in her anticipated album Hit Me Hard and Soft, played an intergral role in her journey.

"That song was actually part of what helped me become who I am, to be real," she said, referring to her sexuality. "I wrote some of it before even doing anything with a girl, and then wrote the rest after."

Eilish continued: "I've been in love with girls for my whole life, but I just didn't understand — until, last year, I realized I wanted my face in a vagina."

This particular quote sent fans into a frenzy — while some reactions were unfavorable, with many deeming it 'TMI' for public consumption. "Now Billie... I don't think we're supposed to know this much of details," one user wrote on Twitter (previously known as X.) Another said, "I'm now a victim of "too much information."

"We need to think about sharing less with society," another person quipped. Although, there were fans that shared they were "proud" of her braveness. "Truly proud of Billie Eilish for openly telling Rolling Stone," one user wrote. Another said, "She's living in her truth and I love it."

In the interview, she also shed light on her initial inclination to keep this aspect of her life under wraps. She expressed her frustration, saying, "It's really frustrating to me that it came up," referring to when she officially came out to Variety in December 2023.

"The whole world suddenly decided who I was, and I didn't get to say anything or control any of it," Eilish recalled. "Nobody should be pressured into being one thing or the other, and I think that there's a lot of wanting labels all over the place."
