Bristol Palin Says Son Tripp Is an 'Angel' Amid Dakota Meyer Divorce Drama on 'Teen Mom OG'

Currently, on Teen Mom OG, Bristol Palin's marriage with Dakota Meyer is falling apart. Meyer moved all of Palin's belongings into the guest room of their Texas home, and on the latest episode of the MTV reality series, Palin worried about how her oldest son, Tripp Johnston, would react to the hostility within the crumbling household.

Presently, in Palin's new, freshly divorced life, her 9-year-old seems to be one of her biggest supporters. Palin posted an Instagram photo of Tripp, whom she co-parents with ex-fiancé Levi Johnston, being an excellent big brother two his little sisters, Sailor Grace, 2, and Atlee Bay, 14 months.

"Just have to shout out my @tripp.easton. He is an angel and I can't take it," Palin wrote. "Best big brother & son in the entire world... even when he gives me a run for my money, I am constantly reminded of his pure heart, I am so thankful for this sweet soul, gosh I could explode."

Palin's son was photographed in the midst of arts and crafts with his sisters, painting a pumpkin while they worked on their own Halloween project from their high chairs.

Palin's daughters are children from her estranged husband Meyer. The ex-couple tied the knot in 2016, and barely two years later, Meyer filed for divorce. The military veteran cited "discord or conflict of personalities" for the dismantling of their marriage. Palin announced their divorce was finalized in August.

MTV cameras were on hand during Palin's fall out with Meyer and their bittering relationship, as well as Meyer's battle with PTSD, is a consistent aspect of their storyline on Season 7 of the show. Although Palin appears to be troubled by her toxic relationship on the current season of Teen Mom OG, the mother-of-three is taking her newly single life in stride.

Palin said she was focusing on "God & my kids" during a Q&A session with fans on Instagram shortly after announcing her divorce in August. She offered other single moms a bit of advice and suggested for other divorcees to "try your hardest, work hard, don't search for someone to fill the emptiness you might feel by not being married."
