Bristol Palin, the newest cast member of Teen Mom OG, had a mouthful for the show's former star Farrah Abraham while appearing on Jenny McCarthy's SiriusXM show on Thursday. Palin appeared on the radio show to promote the upcoming season of the MTV reality series and responded to a few claims Abraham recently made against her.
"It's like, girlfriend, you could not pay me to want to be anything like you," Palin said.
Abraham, who appeared on the Teen Mom franchise since it's 16 and Pregnant days in 2009, departed from the show following Season 7. The TV personality later sued MTV's parent company Viacom claiming they pushed her off of the network due to her work in the adult film industry.
It was announced Palin, along with MTV alum Cheyenne Floyd, would essentially fill the spot once held by Abraham.
When asked about her replacement at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards in August, Abraham suggested Palin was copying her. "I think I'm watching Girl, Interrupted. She moved to the same place I live. I'm actually scared. I want to stay away from that," Abraham told Us Weekly.
While on the Jenny McCarthy Show, Palin said she used to empathize with Abraham and the way people talked about her on the show. "I know how it feels to be judged off the bat. I feel like I walk into a room and people are like, 'Oh,' you know?" she said.
"So I always [watched] the show and I'm like, you know, maybe she's just misunderstood," Palin continued to say of Abraham. "You know, 'Poor girl. I feel so bad because I feel the same way.'"
Palin's views towards Abraham have since changed following the former Teen Mom star's comments, however, she doesn't plan on making her press tour all about their brewing feud. "This is the only time I'm going to address it because I can't stand people like that, that are just searching for attention. It's a poke, poke, poke," Palin said.
She added: "It's like, no, you're like that on the show because that's how you are."
