"I've been trying to figure it out for so long, and it'll randomly just flare up and then it will start to get better," she explained. "Last night it was literally like hives and red down here all around my mouth... I have no idea what's causing it. I feel like I've changed everything I've used." In a closer shot, also shared to her Instagram story, she showcased the redness and bumps near her upper lip and chin, seeking advice with, "Any tips send them my way... thanks friends."
Following the flood of helpful suggestions from her followers, Brittany updated them, stating, "I'm pretty positive I have Perioral Dermatitis. I am going to a dermatologist tomorrow to figure out what I need to do." Perioral Dermatitis is described as a condition typically affecting young, adult women, characterized by inflamed papules, pustules, or scaly patches around the mouth.
Brittany's openness extends beyond this incident; she's shared several barefaced photos from workouts and casual outings. In one post from November 2020, the model expressed gratitude for the support on her fitness apparel line alongside a makeup-free mirror selfie. More recently, she posted a reel of her completing a workout and drinking an Owyn protein shake, makeup-free.
