K-pop group BTS have won another award, this time taking home the title for the Popularity Award at the Asia Artist Awards (AAA) on Tuesday. The group also took home awards under the titles Korean Culture Award, Artist of the Year, AAA Fabulous Award, Best Performance Director Award, Best Producer Award and a Daesung award, or grand prize, though their win of the Popularity group is receiving the most attention. The award was fan voted.

Fans of the K-pop group, who are beginning to infiltrate music culture in America, are wildly dedicated. Any time the band wins an award or releases news, the BTS Twitter community, calling themselves "Army," are loud in support of their favorite group.

A fan, with Twitter username BTS_DidThat, noted they'd seen Twitter users shame BTS for their success, including receiving the Popularity award. These users apparently do not understand the global fascination with the K-pop sensation.

Army y'all see wants happening? Mfs will congratulate their favs for winning a POPULARITY award but then shame BTS for winning a POPULARITY Award that they actually fit the category for as in some stank ass "ew BTS just Popular" when BTS gets the top awards too.... Pay attention

"Army y'all see wants happening? Mfs will congratulate their favs for winning a POPULARITY award but then shame BTS for winning a POPULARITY Award that they actually fit the category for as in some stank ass 'ew BTS just Popular' when BTS gets the top awards too.... Pay attention," the user shared. The tweet was met with comments and over 160 retweets.

The message seems to refer to BTS's lack of total acceptance across cultures. The user, who is a BTS fan living in America, speaks to the K-pop movement, which is beginning to become accessible to the masses but is still not completely understood.

Regardless of outside opinions, BTS fans were overjoyed with the wins, and the band paid respect to their Army in their acceptance speech. Each member of the band briefly spoke at the acceptance of the Daesung award. The translated speech was posted by Twitter user @BTSArmy_Salon.

"The more time goes by, the more time we get to spend with you, the greater our life quality gets," Jungkook said. "We are anticipating for more happy days. We hope to keep walking with you joyfully and happily. We will make you happy, so please continue to be with us," he said.

BTS member Jin also dedicated the award to the loyal fans. "We always believe the award does not belong to us but to you," he said. "We will also love Armys, so Armys, please also look after us."
