Call of Duty: Vanguard's Zombie mode is due to be revealed in a livestream taking place later today (October 14).
The cooperative experience has been a fan-favourite ever since it was introduced back in Call of Duty: World at War. The basic premise is that a group of four must withstand a horde of undead soldiers by setting up a defensive perimeter, boarding up windows, upgrading their loadout and, (naturally) gunning down every shambling corpse in sight.
Over the years, this wave-based survival mode has evolved dramatically, establishing its own intricate lore, enlisting celebrity voice actors, adding unique boss creatures and even factoring time travel into proceedings.
Not all entries in the Call of Duty (COD) series feature Zombies - The Modern Warfare games and Advanced Warfare did not for example - but last year's Black Ops Cold War had a substantial offering and so fans are eager to see what is in store for the next release.
There has already been a competitive multiplayer beta for Call of Duty: Vanguard and we were treated to an extensive preview of the single player campaign during this year's Gamescom broadcast.
However, we have yet to see anything from the Zombies mode, other than a few abrupt teasers. This is now all about to change, as a reveal trailer will be debuting this morning.

When Is the Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies Reveal?
According to the official Call of Duty twitter account, the Zombies trailer will premier in a livestream video on October 14.The link for this broadcast is currently counting down to 11 a.m. ET, which is when the trailer will launch.If you are in another time zone, this translates to 8 a.m. PST or 4 p.m. BST.
Incidentally, this is the exact same time that EA will be dropping its Hazard Zone reveal for Battlefield 2042, meaning that the two biggest names in the military shooter genre will be simultaneously vying for your attention (which cannot be a coincidence).
How To Watch the Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies Trailer
The Zombies trailer will be featured in a livestream broadcast that is hosted on the official Call of Duty YouTube channel.
If you head there early, you will notice an active countdown that is anticipating the reveal. You do not need to worry if you miss the 11 a.m. ET launch, as the trailer will still be hosted here for you to watch later.
In related COD news, the Warzone battle royale is now gearing up for its annual Halloween event, which this year will see Ghostface from the newly-rebooted Scream franchise wading into the fray.
Call of Duty: Vanguard will be released on November 5 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X Xbox Series S, and PC.
