Carlos Tevez, one of the Chinese Super League's most high-profile new recruits, marked his debut on Sunday with a goal and two assists.
Tevez, the former Manchester United, Manchester City and West Ham United striker, moved from Boca Juniors in his native Argentina in December to Shanghai Shenhua for a reported £615,000 ($754,700) a week in wages.
Tevez, 33, denied in January that his salary was as high as reported. But he began to pay a little back against Jiangsu Suning, as Shanghai Shenhua ran out a 4-0 winner.
