Catelynn Baltierra is firing back at social media trolls. The 26-year-old mom came under attack following Monday night's episode of Teen Mom OG, during which she and husband Tyler Baltierra continued to discuss the terms of their separation.

On a previous episode of the MTV reality show, the Balteirras decided to live separately while remaining husband and wife. Criticism against Catelynn was rampant since the show aired, leading the MTV reality star to respond Wednesday.

"Some of u people disgust me. How can we treat other women with such hate & nasty words? Especially when they r carrying a child!!!" Baltierra, who is pregnant with the couple's third child, wrote. "No wonder I didn't use social media 4 the longest time! At least I can go 2 sleep knowing I'm not an evil, vile person."

The reality star added: "Why can't we lift one another instead of feeling the need to be so rude and disgusting? Thank god my girls will be taught to speak kindly to other people and to stand up for themselves! THANK YOU to all my supporters you all rock!!!!!"

Hundreds of commenters online seemed to blame Catelynn for the tumultuous time her marriage appears to be suffering from on the show. Some people took aim at Catelynn's longtime battle with mental health for causing Tyler stress while others suggested Tyler should just leave Catelynn altogether instead of trying to work things out from separate homes.

Despite the backlash, Tyler revealed the couple was "doing great" while living separately.

"It's funny because we actually don't even call it separation anymore. We say, 'Let's just do 30 days of self-reflection time. You get to focus on you, I get to focus on me. We'll continue to do couples's therapy,'" Tyler, 26, told Us Weekly on Tuesday.
