'Celebrity Big Brother' Spoilers: Who Is The First HoH And First Nominee?

The premiere night of Celebrity Big Brother on Monday hosted a variety of early game twists. Some celebrities were excited by the possibility of early challenges, while others thought the opening night was a bit too soon to switch up the bones of the game.

The first Head of Household (HoH) competition was held, and unsurprisingly, looked challenging and most likely took hours to complete. The celebrities were forced to compete in teams, with two houseguests sitting out. The teams were Ryan Lochte and Jonathan Bennett, Tamar Braxton and Kandi Burruss, Lolo Jones and Tom Green, Ricky Williams and Joey Lawrence and Dina Lohan and Anthony Scaramucci. It was promised one member of the winning team would become the season's first HoH.

Kato Kaelin and Natalie Eva Marie did not compete in the HoH competition and are therefore safe from nomination and eviction this week.

But a twist awaited the houseguests after their team competition. After swinging on staggered swings and attempting to fill a plastic container with "champagne," Olympian Lochte and actor Bennett came out on top. The pair was later told one will become HoH, and the other will be the first official nomination for eviction.

The Monday show ended on the surprise announcement and built anticipation for Tuesday's episode of the back-to-back premiere event. Lochte has allegedly beat Bennett for HoH, according to Fansided. This means Bennett may be the first nominee on the chopping block this week. It's unclear who is sitting beside him.

Though a few twists interfered with the normal Big Brother format on Monday, fans of the game can rest assured the celebrities will play the same game as in a typical season. Bennett and the other nominee, along with Lochte and a few random draws, will be able to compete in a Veto Competition to secure their safety for the week.

An alliance seems to be forming in the house already. Bennett and Lawrence are said to be working together, according to Fansided. As of night one, no other alliances have been set, but two possible sets of opposing players have been defined.

Burruss and Braxton individually expressed they'd had riffs in the music world. Lochte and Jones were upset to see another Olympian in the house, thinking other players would immediately assume they'd work together given their prior, working relationship.
