Updated | Police have arrested a naturalized U.S. citizen from Afghanistan wanted in connection with an explosion in New York City's Chelsea district Saturday after a gunfight, according to reports.
Ahmad Khan Rahami, 28 and from New Jersey, was reportedly detained Monday in Linden, New Jersey, following a shootout that injured a policeman, CNN reported.
Authorities had earlier identified Rahami as a suspect in relation to the bomb that went off in Chelsea on Saturday, injuring 29 people.
Both the bomb and another unexploded device found nearby were reportedly pressure cookers filled with shrapnel. A pipe bomb also exploded in New Jersey on Saturday, with authorities investigating whether the three devices were connected.

Another device was discovered near a train station in Elizabeth, New Jersey, on Sunday night. It exploded in the early hours of Monday as a police robot attempted to disable it.
New York governor Andrew Cuomo said Monday that the explosion in Chelsea could be an act of terrorism with a foreign connection, AP reported.
