'Curb Your Enthusiasm' Season 12: Will There Be Another Season of Larry David's Show?

Another successful season of Curb Your Enthusiasm is coming to an end but fans of the Larry David show want to know if there'll be another season to look forward to.

There's been some sizable gaps between seasons but Curb Your Enthusiasm has now been on the air for over 20 years. Larry David created and plays a fictionalized version of himself on the show, alongside celebrities who also often play fictionalized versions of themselves. Season 11 has featured the likes of Seth Rogen, Jon Hamm, Woody Harrelson, Tracey Ullman, Lucy Liu and Dylan O'Brien.

Will 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' Return?

Neither Larry David nor HBO, the network Curb Your Enthusiasm airs on, has yet to confirm whether or not the show will return once again.

If it was to be confirmed, we may have to wait a couple of months yet as Season 11 was only announced in June 2020, over two months after the end of Season 10, and 16 months before Season 11 actually aired.

While writer and star David has yet to comment on a Season 12, co-star Jeff Garlin has previously spoken about the future of the show with some bittersweet news.

During a Q&A for his ABC sitcom The Goldbergs, Garlin admitted he'd love to do another season of Curb Your Enthusiasm after the 11th. He continued: "We could maybe do one more [season], maybe. You know, Larry is in his 70s. Don't get me wrong, he's in good shape."

Garlin discussed the demanding schedule required for Curb Your Enthusiasm and admitted it takes its toll on him, and therefore must be even harder for the creator. "I don't know if physically he can do more than, let's say another season. I think he could do another, I don't know if he has two in him," Garlin said.

Garlin recently left his role in the long-running sitcom The Goldbergs following allegations of misconduct made against him. The news came two weeks after Vanity Fair published an article about an investigation into Garlin's alleged verbal and physical conduct on the set of the show. There is currently no word on how the allegations might affect his role on Curb Your Enthusiasm, with which he has been involved since the series launched.

First airing in October 2000, Curb Your Enthusiasm is already one of the longest-running live-action sitcoms on television, and a 12th season would increase its impressive run.

The Season 11 finale of Curb Your Enthusiasm airs on HBO Max on Sunday December 26, 2021.
