Female Dating Coach Shares 'Secret' That Can Make All Men More Confident

The secret to dating confidence might be simpler—but harder—than you think.

A video posted by Gracie (@datingwithgracie) has gone viral for revealing her secret to make men more confident in their dating lives: Not focusing on outcome. She says those willing to face rejection or failure embody more initiative and end up thriving in their romantic lives. Since Gracie's clip was posted only six days ago, it has received over 201,000 views.

"All confident men know this one secret," Gracie said in the video. She introduces herself as a dating coach who helps men "get unstuck in their dating lives so that they can attract their next girlfriend."

"One secret that confident men know makes for an amazing dating life is that the outcome of whether or not it's going to work out with someone is not what's important," Gracie said. "A lot of times, guys shy away from putting themselves out there approaching women and going on dates, because they are afraid of what will happen if they do.

"But confident guys are much more afraid of what will happen if they don't. So, they go for it anyway, knowing that rejection is a possibility, and they go on dates understanding that it might not work out."

In other videos, Gracie advises men about dating ideas, best questions to ask on a first date and signs that a woman might be "into" them.

However, not all viewers are resonating with her insight. Some men are saying they have taken a step back from dating to focus on self-esteem apart from relationships.

"My confidence level went through the roof when I stopped dating," @blusteeel1 wrote. "Got a dog started taking care of myself and prioritizing my own happiness. I'm confident in my ability to find peace and joy."

"The more confident men just prefer to stay home and know their worth is what's best for them," @johnconcha4 posted.

Other men in the comments agreed with Gracie's pitch but didn't quite count it as novel advice.

"If you know you're a catch shoot your shot and if she's not interested move on to the next," @rodneybaxley427 commented. "It is what it is."

"You miss 100 per cent of the shots you don't take," @cerberus_1968 added.

"I've never been afraid to approach an attractive woman," @stupidusername1866 posted. "Why would I be? Nothing will happen if I do nothing and it's free to ask them out."

Gracie finished her video by telling men that, with dating, action matters more than intention—and that with a little initiative and trust, they can find the one for them.

"Instead of hiding away and waiting for their dream girl to magically appear, confident guys go out there and pursue what it is they want, and they do it from a belief of knowing that they are going to find their dream girl," Gracie said. "It's just a matter of time."
