Jersey Shore star Deena Cortese took to Instagram and Twitter on Monday to confirm some exciting news: She's pregnant with a baby boy. The star is expecting her first child with husband Christopher Buckner.

Cortese posted a series of pictures that showed off her burgeoning baby bump. "Chris and I decided to wait until we were ready to spill the beans!" she captioned her post. "Now that we are safely into our second trimester… [we] and our little monkey are ready to tell the world our little family is growing! We have a sweet little boy on the way!"

"We are truly blessed and our hearts are filled with so much joy and happiness. December can't come soon enough!" she continued. "Daddy and Mommy can't wait to meet you Christopher John you are going to be the most spoiled little boy ever!!!!"

It's possibly Cortese was pregnant while filming Jersey Shore Family Vacation. After wrapping up the Miami edition, the famous fist pumpers headed to Las Vegas to film Season 2. A teaser promised that "s*** gets real" when Cortese, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Jenni "JWOWW" Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Paul Delvecchio, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro reunite. Season 2 is slated to return in August.

Cortese and Buckner married in October after a one-year engagement. They previously appeared on Season 5 of VH1's Couple's Therapy with Dr. Jenn in 2014 to work out their problems when it came to money.

"I think one thing Deena can do to help our relationship is just to be a little more open-minded to a compromise. Our financial situations are completely different. I sell furniture, so anybody who knows who she is and who knows me, knows that she has more money than I do," he said at the time. It's something that I have a hard time dealing with." He continued: "It makes me feel weird if I give you a birthday gift and you get me a birthday trip."

Cortese was willing to work things out. "Even though we have our issues, I see a future with me and him. But then again, I think he does need a little kick in the butt to man up, move in together and start a future," she said.

Nearly four years later, the couple is expecting their baby boy in December.
