Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will target Leicester City winger Demarai Gray in the summer transfer window, according to reports.

The Times claims Klopp is desperate to add width to an attack that has become predictable on occasion since Christmas.

In addition to Gray, a shining light amid English Premier League champion Leicester's struggles this season, the German will bid for Julian Brandt, the Bayer Leverkusen winger.

Gray was Leicester's best player in the FA Cup fourth-round replay against Derby County at the King Power Stadium on Wednesday, and appears to have established himself firmly in manager Claudio Ranieri's plans.

Any attempt to move forward on a deal for a Leicester player will remain difficult while the club's status in the Premier League is uncertain. Leicester produced one of English football's great upsets last season in holding off the country's giants over 38 games to claim the league title. This time round, it lies one point off the relegation zone with 14 games of the season remaining.
