Destiny 2 players can check out a new inventory of Exotics from Xur right now, and we're here to tell you where your Shards should be spent. With the Crimson Hand Cannon being an obvious highlight, let's recap the key details.
Where is Xur located in 'Destiny 2?'
You'll find Xur on Nessus near the Watcher's Grave. Here's what his exact location looks like on Destiny 2's in-game map.
Xur 'Destiny 2' Inventory
Now that you've found him, let's recap Xur's precious Exotic wares.
- Crimson Primary Hand Cannon [29 Legendary Shards]: The Banned Weapon perk offers a three-round burst, and it's got a really attainable Catalyst that helps the weapon shred in Crucible and Gambit. Once you start racking up kills, you'll also have the chance to heal up. No matter your class, this is a must-have Exotic for your collection.
- St0mp-EE5 Hunter Leg Armor [23 Legendary Shards]: Its Hydraulic Boosters increase sprint speed and slide distance. It also improves your High Jump, Strafe Jump and Triple Jump In the recent Hunter meta, this is a solid choice for Guardians who don't have much in the way of mobility gear already. The EE5 won't be super-useful against AI in PvE, but it sure helps make a quick getaway against human foes.
- Khepri's Horn Titan Helmet [23 Legendary Shards]: For the Titans of the group, Khepri's Horn is a neat little helmet. It's improved over the past few weeks since the gear rework, but still isn't an extremely popular choice. The Solar Rampat perk allows you to recharge your barricade with Solar kills, then you can use that energy to release a bunch of fireballs from behind cover.
- Verity's Bow Warlock Helmet [23 Legendary Shards]: This bow is a nice compliment to the new weapon slot system and worth a look for Voidwalkers who like to use energy weapons. This helmet can be extremely useful, as it allows you to keep using Devour constantly.
- Five of Swords: This is a Nightfall Challenge Card that can raise or lower the Power handicap to fit your needs. Raising the handicap increases your score multiplier.
There still haven't been any Forsaken Exotics on sale yet, but at least the Crimson makes Xur's inventory slightly better than it's been the past few weeks. Not everything here will appeal to all players, but you always have the option of saving Shards if you choose.
Destiny 2 is available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Xur's location and inventory are the same across all platforms through the Weekly Reset on Tuesday.
