Did Steve Kerr, Warriors Disrespect the Suns in Blowout? Watch Video Here

Steve Kerr decided his Golden State Warriors didn't need his coaching against the Phoenix Suns.

That made the lowly Suns really mad.

Video surfaced on Tuesday morning of Kerr handing his clipboard to his Warriors players during their win in Oakland on Monday night. In the clip below you can see Andre Iguodala talking to Kevin Durant, among others, during a timeout early in the game.

Bear in mind that the Suns were actually leading at this point, with six minutes of the first quarter remaining.

And it wasn't only Iguodala who took on coaching duties.

"Veterans Andre Iguodala and David West took turns with the grease board in the first half, Stephen Curry was designing plays coming out of halftime and Draymond Green took over in the second half," Chris Cole wrote in the Arizona Republic.

Kerr told Jay Triano, the Suns' interim head coach, that his intention was not to be disrespectful.

"I told Jay that people may make a big deal of it and it had nothing to do with being disrespectful," Kerr said in quotes reported by the Republic. "It had everything to do with me trying to reach my team."

Troy Daniels, the Suns' shooting guard, disagreed and snuck in an unsubtle (yet pretty effective) dig at Kerr in the process.

"It's disrespectful," Daniels told the same publication. "I don't think it's hard to coach those guys [the Warriors] though. So I think anybody can do it."

Either the Warriors players are already really good coaches or Daniels was sort of correct, since the Warriors blew out the Suns 129-83. (Or the Suns are just absolutely terrible, more likely).

Was Kerr's decision disrespectful or was he simply preparing the Warriors for the playoffs when they will have to make huge decisions on their own in the clutch? Watch the videos and decide for yourself.
