Hilarious Way Dog Who 'Doesn't Mess Around' Demands Owner Throws Ball

A fetch-loving dog made his feelings abundantly clear after his owner delayed throwing the ball for her two pet pooches.

In a video posted to TikTok under the handle @marleyandhankgsp2, Angie Bergan highlighted how one of her two German shorthaired pointers, Marley, doesn't mess around when it comes to playing ball.

The video, which has been watched over 3.4 million times on the popular social-media platform, highlights Marley's crazed reaction to being denied his favorite game. In the clip, Marley can be seen giving Bergan some serious side-eye, much to her audible amusement.

While Hank is not best pleased either and lets his own feelings be known through a series of barks, it's clear that this means a whole lot more to Marley. The German shorthaired pointer remains frozen to the spot while he dishes out a death stare to his human companion. The message is clear: he wants his ball back and he wants it now.

No one is entirely sure why dogs love games of fetch so much. Debbie Jacobs is a certified dog trainer who authored the book A Guide to Living With & Training a Fearful Dog.

"If you like playing football, you play football even if you don't get paid to do it. It just feels good to do it," Jacobs told the Huffington Post.

"If you have a dog who in their genetic mix happens to be strongly predisposed to chasing and grabbing something, and at some point introduce them to the game of fetch, you can end up with a dog who wants to do it a lot."

It's clear Hank and Marley are of the fetch-loving disposition. Though some dog fans watching the clip on TikTok wondered whether Marley might love it a little too much, given his reaction on the footage.

"He's not even blinking," one user wrote. "He refuses to miss an opportunity to catch it." Another posted that he was "tired of these games" in reference to Bergan's delay tactics, while a third said: "that's a German short haired side eyer."

Elsewhere, one viewer posted, "That's how my mom used to look at me when I was being bad at church," while another commented: "Ma'am please throw the ball... the dog is scaring me."

Another agreed, writing, "You better throw that ball Angie," with one user commenting: "Looks to me, that Marley isn't treating this like play. This is a life and death mission."

Though Marley's crazed look might have put Bergan off the idea of playing fetch with him again, something tells us her dog isn't going to let that happen anytime soon.
