Donald Trump Flights on Jeffrey Epstein's 'Lolita Express'—What We Know

There is speculation that former President Donald Trump could be among the high-profile names included in the unsealed court documents related to pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, as the former president sometimes used the child sex offender's private jet.

The names of about 200 people linked to Epstein, who took his own life in a New York jail cell in August 2019 while awaiting trial for child sex charges, could be revealed this week after U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska ruled that they should no longer be redacted as part of a settled civil lawsuit between Ghislaine Maxwell, who was found guilty in December 2021 of helping Epstein abuse and traffic underage girls, and accuser Virginia Giuffre.

Many of the names believed to be induced in the documents are already known to have had some associations with Epstein, including former President Bill Clinton and Britain's Prince Andrew, who settled with Giuffre for a reported multimillion payment after she alleged she had sex with the royal when she was 17 after being trafficked by Epstein.

It is believed others named in the documents will not be accused of any wrongdoing in connection with Epstein, including Clinton and Trump, and may be included because they were found to have flown on the financier's private jet.

During Maxwell's 2021 trial, it was revealed that Trump had flown several times on Epstein's jet, dubbed the "Lolita Express," in the 1990s.

Trump flew four times in 1993, as well as once in 1994, 1995 and 1997. The flights were between Palm Beach, Florida, and New York City airports, with one 1994 flight stopping at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.

In another June 1994 flight, Trump traveled with a woman named "Marla"—presumably then-wife Marla Maples—and his then-infant daughter, Tiffany, along with a nanny.

Trump's son Eric is also listed on a flight in August 1995 from Palm Beach to New York, and would have been 11 at the time of the flight.

There is no evidence that Trump visited Epstein's notorious Little St. James island, where the late financier is alleged to have trafficked and sexually abused young women and girls. Trump has also never been implicated in the offenses committed by Epstein or Maxwell.

Newsweek reached out to Trump's office via email for comment.

Trump and Epstein were associates for years in the 1980s and 1990s. In a 2002 interview with New York Magazine, Trump said: "I've known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy.

"He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it—Jeffrey enjoys his social life," Trump added.

The comments arrived years before news of the child sex offending committed by Epstein emerged. Epstein pleaded guilty to one count of soliciting prostitution and one count of soliciting prostitution from someone under 18 in Florida in 2008, and was sentenced to 18 months in jail.

Giuffre said she was a teenager working at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, in 2000 when she met Maxwell. Giuffre said Maxwell then recruited her to give Epstein massages, and she was also forced to have sex with his friends in locations such as Little St. James and New York.

There have never been any suggestions that Trump had sex with Giuffre or other women who had been trafficked by Epstein. Clinton has also denied knowing about Epstein's offenses or visiting Little St. James island, with no flight logs existing suggesting otherwise.

In a statement released in 2019, which was reiterated to Newsweek, a Clinton spokesperson said he had "not spoken to Epstein in well over a decade" and "knows nothing about the terrible crimes."

Trump allegedly banned Epstein from his Mar-a-Lago resort after he showed interest in the teenage daughter of a club member in the early 2000s.

"I knew him like everybody in Palm Beach knew him. I had a falling-out a long time ago, I'd say maybe 15 years," Trump told reporters in the White House in 2019 soon after Epstein was taken into custody in New York. "I was not a fan of his, that I can tell you."
