John Legend Says Donald Trump is a 'F**king Embarrassment' During Explosive Press Conference

John Legend had harsh words for President Donald Trump after tuning in to the White House press briefing on Wednesday. While Trump was in Washington D.C. spatting with reporters following the midterm election results, Legend took to Twitter to voice his opinion of the Commander-in-Chief.

"The president is a f**king embarrassment," Legend wrote.

The president is a fucking embarrassment.

The award-winning singer's comments came moments after Trump engaged in a confrontational exchange with CNN's Jim Acosta, calling the White House reporter a "very rude person" when Acosta failed to discontinue a line of questioning regarding the Russia investigation. Special Counsel Robert Mueller is currently investigation Russian officials' potential interference in the 2016 presidential election and Trump's possible collusion.

Trump repeatedly dismissed Acosta's questions and said, "That's enough." When a White House aide attempted to yank the microphone out of Acosta's hand—an unsuccessful effort—Trump fired off: "I tell you what, CNN should be ashamed of itself having you working for them," he said wagging a finger at Acosta.

"You are a rude terrible person," he said. "The way you treat [White House Press Secretary] Sarah Huckabee [Sanders] is horrible. You shouldn't treat people that way."
