Donald Trump Appears To Check Spotify Wrapped in Viral Photo

Former President Donald Trump was seemingly spotted checking out a Spotify Wrapped playlist.

The blurry image was posted to social media and shows Trump at a round table at an event with his wife Melania Trump by his side. In the photo, Trump is looking down at a tablet that seems to have the audio streaming platform's app open.

The Spotify Wrapped playlist is released towards the end of every year and shows individual users their most listened-to content, including songs, albums, artists, genre, podcasts, and even how many minutes someone spent listening to content.

People reacted to the photo of Trump on social media.

"i'm in tears even trump is checking for his spotify wrapped," wrote one person on X, formerly Twitter.

The original poster wrote: "🔥🚨DEVELOPING: an Image of President Trump viewing his Spotify Wrapped Playlist has surfaced. What do you think Trump listens to?"

And a third user commented: "Trump is probably the only person i'm actually curious to know what his spotify wrapped is 🤣."

Newsweek was unable to independently verify the source of the photo and has reached out to the original poster. We also contacted Trump's representatives by email for comment.

Spotify released its most listened-to content for 2023 with Taylor Swift and Bad Bunny dominating the end-of-year charts.

Some 574 million people listened to Spotify this year as Swift topped with 26.1 billion global streams so far in 2023.

She was followed by Bad Bunny then The Weeknd, Drake, and Peso Pluma to round out the top five.

Bad Bunny managed to top Swift in the album category with his Un Verano Sin Ti album topping that chart with her Midnights release coming in second.

But neither made it into the top five songs of the year as the honor went to Miley Cyrus' breakup anthem "Flowers," followed by SZA's "Kill Bill," "As it Was" by Harry Styles, "Seven (feat. Latto)" by Jung Kook and "Ella Baila Sola" by Eslabon Armando, Peso Pluma.

The top podcasts of the year were The Joe Rogan Experience, Call Her Daddy, Huberman Lab, anything goes with emma chamberlain and On Purpose With Jay Shetty.

The audio app revealed other major trends of 2023 including how the hit movie Barbie impacted people's music tastes. After the film's release, streams of Spotify's official Barbie playlist increased by 1,560 percent.
