AEW Double or Nothing Predictions: Who Wins Each Match in Las Vegas?

All Elite Wrestling's first show, Double or Nothing is the showcase event for the new wrestling promotion.

While All In, Cody Rhodes and the Young Bucks' first show together last year, was a celebration of wrestling Double or Nothing will set the foundation for what AEW wants to be. The people in power say that AEW will take wins and losses into account and be more about the in-ring performances so we'll see how the pay-per-view will go.

There are nine matches between the pre-show and main card and just one championship on the line, the AAA Tag Team titles currently held by The Young Bucks.

Here's our predictions for AEW's Double or Nothing.

CASINO BATTLE ROYAL

This pre-show Battle Royal is difficult to predict as the entire field of wrestlers hasn't been confirmed. However, if the winner of the match gets a title shot there's only a few realistic choices.

Unless AEW is looking to make a star out of a less-known member of their roster I see Hangman Page entering and winning the match since his bout with PAC was cancelled.

Winner: Hangman Page

kip sabian vs sammy guevara double or nothing
AEW

KIP SABIAN VS SAMMY GUEVARA

A spotlight match for two young wrestlers. Both men can steal the show, but with the way Sammy Guevara is spotlighted on Being the Elite I'm feeling that he will get the win.

Winner: Sammy Guevara

best friends vs angelico jack evans double or nothing
AEW

BEST FRIENDS VS ANGELICO AND JACK EVANS

Best Friends got themselves out of the pre-show Battle Royal and into their own tag team match on the main card. Their storyline in BTE would benefit from a victory here to show the Bucks that they are a team that deserves to be on the main card.

Winner: Best Friends

scu vs strong hearts double or nothing
AEW

SCU VS STRONG HEARTS (CIMA, T-HAWK, LINDAMAN)

So Cal Uncensored are one of the pillars of All Elite Wrestling, and while a victory would help establish them as a force heading into the next show, the promotion is very high on Cima and the promotion OWE.

AEW made a big deal out of their announced partnership with OWE so that seems why they'd want the team of Cima, T-Hawk and Lindaman to go over especially if it's a one-time showcase.

Winner: Strong Hearts

six women tag match double or nothing
AEW

AJA KONG, YUKA SAKAZAKI AND EMI SAKURA VS HIKARU SHIDA, RIHO ABE AND RYO MIZUNAMI

All six women in the match are some of the best from Japan but having Aja Kong anchor one team - and the name recognition - gives them the upper hand in my mind.

Winner: Aja Kong, Yuka Sakazaki and Emi Sakura

britt baker vs nyla rose vs kylie rose double or nothing
AEW

BRITT BAKER VS NYLA ROSE VS KYLIE RAE

The story on BTE is Brandi Rhodes telling all three women in the match that they are going to go over. However, only one can win and the way AEW has Britt Baker appear prominently at the Warner Bros. upfronts means they will likely want her as the face of the women's division.

She also had a great showing at All In last year.

Winner: Britt Baker

cody vs dustin double or nothing
AEW

CODY VS DUSTIN

Cody is trying to destroy the "Attitude Era." Dustin wants one more ride and to face his brother, something that WWE wouldn't let them do when they were both in the promotion.

I'm convinced this will be Dustin's final wrestling match, and being an old school guy he will go out "on his back." That gives Cody the win.

Winner: Cody

chris jericho vs kenny omega double or nothing
AEW

KENNY OMEGA VS CHRIS JERICHO

It was revealed that the winner of the Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho match will face the winner of the Battle Royal for the AEW Championship. Since I chose Hangman Page, he would need to go up against a heel and Jericho is the biggest one in the company.

Omega could take a loss, but Jericho getting a strong win against Omega will also help build his match against Kazuchika Okada in NJPW.

Winner: Chris Jericho

young bucks vs lucha bros double or nothing
AEW

YOUNG BUCKS VS LUCHA BROTHERS - AAA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

The Young Bucks came in and defeated the Lucha Brothers in Mexico for the AAA Tag Team Championships and were showered with boos from the crowd. The Bucks have been stating they'll be considered the best tag team in the world once they defeat the Lucha Brothers again, but I have a hard time believing the Bucks will continue to hold the AAA Tag Titles after Double or Nothing.

Winner: Lucha Brothers
