'Dragalia Lost' Loyalty's Requiem Raid Guide: Join Celliera and Pele to Defeat Phraeganoth

Dragalia Lost is having its first big event this weekend, Loyalty's Requiem. Players can travel through the depths of a volcano with new ally Celliera to defeat the evil monster Phraeganoth. There are a ton of new resources to collect, like emblems, otherworld fragments and Blazon shards. The event started today and ends Oct. 15 at 2 a.m. EDT.

The plot of the event is simple: Archeole, a cyclops king, has been sucked into a portal to another dimension. Being there has corrupted his spirit, and now he wants to summon the immensely powerful demon dragon Phraeganoth. You'll have to team up with other players to take him down, collecting otherworld fragments to enter the drake's realm and defeat him.

Celliera, the powerful teacher-turned-blademaster will join you on your journey, and completing missions when she's added to your squad will allow you to earn friendship points. You'll need 500 points to permanently keep her in your roster and you get anywhere from five to 10 for completing missions.

Phraeganoth Raid

For the first time, four players can bring their whole teams into a co-op raid. Normally, you can only bring your leader into a co-op fight, but this dragon bends the rules. That's 16 bodies flopping around to beat a giant primordial evil dragon. To join the Standard and Expert levels of the Raid, you'll need 10 otherworld fragments. You can get these by defeating Archeole or by completing other missions elsewhere in the game. Before starting the Phraeganoth Raid, make sure you have enough Might points. It's easy to lose on Standard difficulty with a team that doesn't know how to fight him or one that is underleveled.

The Phraganoth fight is a formidable challenge. When the fight starts, immediately head over to his tail and start slapping away. He'll do a few spin attacks before you and your teammates can chop it off. The next part of the fight, focus on one of his legs. If you have smart teammates who know how to prioritize a target, this should be a breeze. (Most of the time you won't be that lucky, and they'll just hack and slash at his meaty body.)

Once he's Overloaded, the fight gets a lot harder. Volcanoes pop up around the map and Phraganoth shoots fireballs down from the sky. You'll need to dodge a lot of attacks while dealing as much DPS as possible. Once you take him down, you'll get some Emblems and Blazon Shards for summons.

Blazon Summon

If you want the event-exclusive five-star dragon Pele, you are going to need a lot of Shards. Unlike other summons in Dragalia , there are a limited number of items you can get. The best way to get the dragon is to roll as much as possible and knock out as enemy of the bad items as you can. Nobody wants to see a dragon fruit when they can see a dragon instead.
