'Dragon Ball FighterZ' Broly Trailer Features Legendary Super Saiyan

Broly is one of two confirmed DLC characters for Dragon Ball FighterZ and Bandai Namco just released the first gameplay trailer for the Legendary Super Saiyan.

The new fighter's massive physique is matched only by his hatred for Goku and it shows in Broly's first gameplay trailer, where he slams, stomps and throws his opponents around the stage. Broly's fighting style is very reminiscent of Android 16's in the way the Saiyan chains grabs and strikes. You can check out the Broly in Dragon Ball FighterZ trailer above.

Unfortunately, Bandai Namco didn't announce a release date for Broly but with the gameplay trailer already available, fans should expect an announcement very soon. Broly isn't the only DLC character coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ . Bardock, Goku's father, will join the fight in a future release.

Broly is a character created for the Dragon Ball Z movie, Broly - the Legendary Super Saiyan. In this story, which is technically not canon, a Saiyan survivor named Paragus arrives on Earth to ask Vegeta to go to New Vegeta and lead his people to a new age for the Saiyans. However, it later becomes clear Paragus used his son Broly to conquer this planet and its inhabitants. The Z-Fighters try to stop Paragus but Broly, who remembers Goku tormenting him when they were both babies, loses control and kills his father before going on a rampage against everyone. The Z-Fighters eventually overcome the Legendary Super Saiyan and save the planet and its people.
