The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced nominations Thursday for the 67th Emmy Awards, which will air September 20 on Fox. In this year's list, traditional network shows share the stage with streaming shows from Netflix and Amazon, like House of Cards (11 nominations), Orange Is the New Black (four) and Transparent (11).
HBO leads the pack as the most-nominated network, with 126 nominations, and Game of Thrones raked in two dozen nominations, more than any other show.
Andy Samberg will be the host for this year's show, which will be held at the recently rebranded Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles (formerly the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live). The comedian, singer, writer and actor, known for roles in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Hot Rod and other films and TV shows, won a shared Emmy for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for his work on Saturday Night Live in 2007 and has received several other Emmy nominations in the years since.
"Buckle your seat belts, Emmy viewers!" Samberg says on the Television Academy's website. "Like, in general you should buckle your seat belts in your car. In fact, even if you're not an Emmy viewer, you should buckle your seat belt. It can be dangerous on the road. Also, if you're not an Emmy viewer, you should strongly consider becoming one this year, because I'm hosting and it's gonna be a wild ride. So buckle your seat belts."
